Thai Green Label

The Thai Green Label is an environmental certification program that recognizes products demonstrated to have a reduced negative impact on the environment compared to other products serving the same purpose. It is administered by the Thailand Environment Institute (TEI) and applies across a wide range of product and service categories, explicitly excluding foods, beverages, and pharmaceuticals.

The program was initiated by the Thailand Business Council for Sustainable Development (TBCSD) and officially launched in August 1994 in partnership with the Ministry of Industry. It is Thailand's primary eco-label scheme and is relevant to manufacturers, suppliers, and brands operating in sectors such as construction, consumer goods, technology, energy, and manufacturing who want to demonstrate environmental responsibility in the Thai market.
