Green Shape
Vaude
VAUDE's Green Shape label for products made with strict ecological standards
Ideal For
Industries
Overview
Green Shape is VAUDE's own sustainability label applied to products that meet rigorous ecological manufacturing standards. To earn the label, a product must be made from at least 90% organic cotton or recycled materials, and must also meet one of several additional environmental criteria: dyeing using VAUDE's ecolour process, or compliance with the bluesign® textile standard.
The label is designed to help consumers quickly identify products within VAUDE's lineup that go beyond baseline sustainability requirements. It applies at the product level rather than the brand or company level, meaning individual items are evaluated and certified independently.
Green Shape is particularly relevant for manufacturers and retailers in the outdoor and apparel industries operating in markets such as Germany, Austria, and the United States who want a credible, clearly defined standard for communicating a product's environmental attributes to end customers.
