Healthy Child Healthy World recommends products and services designed to help families reduce their exposure to harmful chemicals and create safer, healthier home environments. The program focuses specifically on children's and family environmental health, evaluating products across agriculture and manufacturing sectors in the United States.

To earn a recommendation, products and services must pass a screening and data collection process that considers human health impacts, environmental health, and social responsibility. Rather than maintaining its own independent testing criteria, the program relies on a set of established third-party certifications as the basis for approval. Products holding recognized certifications such as USDA Organic, Green Seal, GreenGuard, FSC, Cradle to Cradle, LEED, SCS, or JPMA are eligible. Manufacturers without one of these certifications may also qualify by submitting an affidavit attesting to the environmental attributes of their product.

This program is best suited for manufacturers and agricultural producers whose products are already certified by a major environmental or health-focused standard and who want to reach health-conscious families actively seeking safer product choices.
