The overall assessment is documentation-based, with no on-site audit, and is conducted by SCA's in-house team of cosmetic safety experts.

SCA Verified occupies a niche but growing segment of the Australian cosmetics certification landscape. The SCA Verified™ program was formally introduced in 2020, directly in response to growing demands from international selling platforms and government authorities for annual certificates of compliance from cosmetics brands.
