Texas Certified Organically Produced

The Texas Certified Organically Produced program, administered by the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA), certifies farms, processors, distributors, and retailers that produce or handle organic food and fiber. To earn certification, applicants must meet the organic growing and handling standards established by the USDA National Organic Program (NOP), which governs everything from soil and crop management to processing and labeling practices.

Businesses that achieve certification are authorized to use the Texas Certified Organic marketing logo on their products, providing a recognized signal of compliance to consumers and buyers. The TDA also actively promotes Texas-certified organic products, offering certified businesses additional marketing visibility in the state and beyond.
